Author Biography
DON RHODES is publications editor of Morris Communications Co. based in Augusta, Georgia. He is also known for Ramblin' Rhodes, the longest running country music column in America, now in its 36th year. His articles have appeared in many daily newspapers and national magazines, and he has been nominated several times to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in the non-performer category. Don lives in North Augusta, South Carolina.
JEFF BARNES has been working as professional photographer since 1984, where he started as Chief Photographer for the New Bern, Sun Journal. In 1985, he accepted a staff photographer’s position at the Augusta Chronicle, in Augusta, Ga. Three years later, Jeff accepted a promotion to Director of Photographer in the Corporate Communications Department of Morris Communications, where he worked for 20 years. Jeff is now working as a freelance photographer, which involves covering corporate events, magazine work and portraits.
