Author Biography

About the author: JANE CLARKE has published more than 30 books for children. She won the Nottingham Children's Book Award for 3-5 year olds for Stuck in the Mud (Walker Books, 2008). Clarke resides in ENGLAND. About the illustrator: CHARLES FUGE's books include My Dad! and the best sellers Sometimes I Like to Curl Up in a Ball (which was highly commended for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2001) and I Know a Rhino. He won both the MacMillan Prize and the Mother Goose Award for his first book, Bush Vark's First Day Out (Pan MacMillan, 1990). Fuge resides in ENGLAND.
