Author Biography

Darlene R. Stille is the author of about 100 books for children and young people, mainly in the areas of science, history, and biography. She grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois, where she discovered her love of science and writing. She now lives and writes in southwest Michigan. Michael Bright has been working as a producer, director, and writer for the past 40 years. He is a wildlife filmmaker and has written over 90 books, mainly on wildlife, the environment, and the natural sciences. He is a graduate of the University of London, a chartered biologist, and a member of the Society of Biology.
