Author Biography
Bernard J. Gersh, M.D., Editor in Chief of Mayo Clinic Heart Book, Second Edition, is a cardiologist of international renown. He is the author or coauthor of several books and more than 350 journal articles. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards. Dr. Gersh is a consultant in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic, and Professor of Medicine, Mayo Medical School. He lives in Rochester, Minnesota.
