Summary

Even though the iPhone is amazingly easy to use for such a powerful device, it can be intimidating for people who aren’t used to it—this is especially true for seniors. In My iPhone for Seniors, the highly successful approach of My iPhone is tailored to meet the specific interests, needs, and even apprehensions, that seniors sometimes face when learning about technology that is new to them. The tasks in which seniors are most interested in are covered using a step-by-step approach that guides seniors as they learn about their iPhones, telling them exactly how to accomplish their goals.

Topics include:
  • Setting up an iPhone
  • Using core apps (making phone calls, taking photos and video)
  • Adding and using other apps (including FaceBook, iBooks, etc.)
  • Adjusting the iPhone’s interface to their specific needs
  • Understanding and protecting themselves from threats they may perceive
In addition to its tailored content, the book’s format is also designed specifically for seniors, including larger text and graphics to make the content more accessible.
