Summary
When the punctuation marks take a vacation from Mr. Wright's class, his students soon discover how difficult it is to make sense of sentences without them. From "Take-a-Break Lake" where they're vacationing, each punctuation mark sends a postcard highlighting their particular usage. Finally the students borrow some mixed-up punctuation from the class next door to write to the marks begging them to return. Like the students in Mr. Wright's class, readers will quickly realize the value of punctuation and never take it for granted again thanks to this zany, but important lesson.
