Born in London and educated at Oxford, MARTIN GILBERT is one of the world's preeminent biographers and historians. In addition to his universally acclaimed biography of Churchill, he is the author of Jerusalem in the Twentieth Century (Wiley), The Second World War: A Complete History, and Holocaust: The History of the Jews of Europe During the Second World War.
