She has written for Redbook, Parent, Parenting, Working Mother, and Family Circle among others. She is the divorced parent of two boys.
Martine J. Byer, M.S.W., is a licensed psychotherapist who has worked in private practice and as a sexuality counselor for teens. She has appeared in such magazines as Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, and Redbook, and on many TV shows, as an expert on teen problems, couples therapy, health, and sex.
