This book contains 67 well-known short stories about President Xi Jinping’ s thoughts and practices of poverty alleviation. These stories were arranged in chronological order, spanning half a century from 1969 to 2019. They covered almost all places in his political life— from Liangjiahe Village in Shaanxi Province, Zhengding City in Hebei Province, to Fujian Province, Zhejiang Province, and finally to China’ s central government.
